The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in influence within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of characters who will split off from the main group to begin their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the events of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, striking the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the region and advises that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the team access places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists parties.

Fans can anticipate finding out which players will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
