Automobiles in German Town Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police Report

Police mentioned they were contacted by a individual who noticed a automobile in Hanau smeared with red-colored liquid

Roughly fifty vehicles have been smeared with what appears to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Cars, building surfaces and mailboxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they stated in a release.

Officers say they were notified late on Wednesday evening, when a resident noticed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The substance had been drawn in the pattern of a swastika, they reported.

Police then discovered many other marked vehicles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under legislation prohibiting the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Police state initial examinations suggest the fluid was most likely human blood.

"At present there remains no lead as to where it came from; officials are not yet informed of any physical harm in association with the incident," they commented.

City officials stated they were working "to solve the incident" and have requested to the residents for details.

An important political figure stated the attack left him speechless and needed to be solved promptly.

"This event hits the core of Hanau and revives the pain of the extremist attack in 2020," he posted on a platform, recalling the murder of nine individuals by a shooter aiming at people of foreign heritage in 2020.
